SHAKTI EDWARDS

Shakti is originally from the UK. She trained at Elmhurst Ballet School, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts (gaining a Diploma in Performing Arts) and at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire of Scotland, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Acting. Shakti has taught and worked professionally in Europe as an actor, singer and dancer, as well as co-creating an experiential theatre project here in Zürich.

 

She has had the privilege of teaching and facilitating dance and drama classes with students of all ages, from three to seventy-eight! Her work as a dance and drama teacher has afforded her the opportunity to script, choreograph and direct numerous shows. Shakti takes delight in watching the growth and development of the students, both individually and collectively, as they gain confidence in their abilities, learn to trust in themselves and one another, and find their artistic voice.
