WRITING SKETCH COMEDY

Workshop for Intermediate-Advanced. 

Sketch Comedy ideas manifest in various ways: an absurd premise, a bizarre character, a mad world, a commentary on ours. The nature of Sketch means we need to make each crazy idea work in a short amount of time. In this workshop, we will explore various paths of inspiration that take us from a funny idea to written comedy scene.

MORE ABOUT JACOB Jacob is a Canadian living in Austria, teaching and performing impro around Europe. Jacob has been improvising since 1990, when he joined Rapid Fire Theatre to play THEATRESPORTS in Edmonton. Jacob was Artistic Director of Rapid Fire for nine seasons, creating CHIMPROV, The RFT Improv Academy, and Canada’s biggest impro festival IMPROVAGANZA.
