Dance Instructor & Choreographer

Clara Da Costa is an international movement artist, choreographer, director, producer, and educator with a career spanning continents and prestigious stages. Her artistic foundation is rooted in a Major in Performance from SEAD (Salzburg) and advanced studies at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

With an extensive background in Musical Theatre, Clara bridges the power of contemporary performance with the precision of the musical stage. She has directed and choreographed major productions including Chicago, Anastasia (CEFTEM), In the Heights, and School of Rock (InCena), as well Rapsódia, the Musical and the award-winning musical Glam (Cerejeira Produções). Her experience also includes serving as Resident Director for the hit musical 60! Uma década de arromba!.

A specialist in elite performance, Clara has facilitated workshops for artists of Cirque du Soleil, focusing on pushing performers toward their physical and expressive limits. She is the creator of the "Corpo Único" (Unique Body) methodology—a transformative approach to movement and improvisation that she has taught extensively across Brazil and Europe.

Clara’s pedagogy focuses on the intersection of technical precision and storytelling. Whether she is touring her original works across international festivals in Europe, Latin America, and Africa or preparing actors for the professional stage, her mission remains to empower artists and students to discover their "Unique Body" and command the stage with a presence that is both undeniable and profound. She strives to leave a trail of inspired artists and movers wherever she goes.
