Production & Event Designer
Christianna Mason is a London-based production and events designer. Originally from Northern Ireland, she grew up in Belgium and completed her further education in England. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, following a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre Studies (First Class), and a Foundation in Fine Art.
Recent Designer credits include: VAULT – Interior design of new venue; Michael Parker Exhibition – Royal Queens Hussars Museum; Hasbian – Pleasance Theatre; Blowhole – Soho Theatre; Odyssiad – Oxford Playhouse; A Hundred Words For Snow – Trafalgar Studios; Exceptional Promise – Bush Theatre; Romeo and Juliet – Dynamo Theatre, Zurich; The Healing – Omnibus Theatre; Blood Wedding – Omnibus Theatre and Boatswain’s Mate – Arcola Theatre.
Associate Designer credits include: The Paddington Bear Experience – Gamepath Entertainment; Museum of Infinite Realities – Cinimod Studios; Clybourne Park – Park Theatre; Arcane - Los Angeles, Why Is The Sky Blue - Southwark Playhouse.
She also works as an events designer, from creating dramatic entrances in the Tate Modern for GQ Man of the Year Awards, to private American Express events at Claridge’s Hotel.
In 2019 she founded the Designers Mentorship Network with the Society of British Theatre Designers: a mentoring programme that paired 52 designers, from all career stages, across the UK to encourage connectivity, career plans and community.
