Barbara Meszaros

Near the end of her studies, Barbara was engaged as a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, where she performed roles such as Zerbinetta, Queen of the Night, Sophie and Gretel. Guest appearances followed at the Komische Oper Berlin and in many other major European cities. She sang in the German premiere of "Die Liebe der Danae" by Richard Strauss and Rolf Liebermann's "Capriccio", as well as concerts in various festivals, including the "Music Festival Prague Autumn". With the part of the Queen of the Night she made guest appearances in various Opera Houses in Germany, including the music festival in Ulm. She also sang the role of Susanna in Vienna Kloster Neuburg.

 

Barbara also founded the ensembles 'Trio Insolito' (classical-modern) and 'Rock'inSolito' (rock-classical). As an opera and concert singer, she is also passionate about teaching and passing on her experience and skills to her students. CD productions as well as master classes, voice lessons and lessons in performing arts complete her activities.
