In our class, students will focus on the fundamentals of jazz technique along with building strength, flexibility, and performance skills. After a warm up and across the floor exercises, students will learn a combination from the Musical Theatre genre and work on implementing technique and storytelling into each new combination.

Dunja Jakovljevic 

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Dunja has obtained her degree from the National Ballet School in Contemporary dance. In the years that followed, she was a member of Belgrade's Musical Theatre "Terazije Theatre" for 3 years where she was a part of many well known musicals such as “The Producers”, “The Phantom of The Opera”, “Sweet Charity”, “Victor Victoria” and “Monthy Python's Spamalot”.Throughout those years, her teaching experience had a life of its own. After finishing the Ballet School, she became a Contemporary dance professor there for students in their first year of education. Her vastest experience as a teacher comes from a 5 year long experience in Serbia's most awarded dance studio “Dance Factory”, where she had the opportunity to work on a huge variation of dance styles with students from ages 3-16.
