ROCKET SUGAR FACTORY is the improv power-duo, Jim Libby (USA) and Jacob Banigan (Canada). Based in Austria, Rocket Sugar Factory tours throughout Europe and North America with their distinct style of impro. Performing sweet and powerful theatrical adventures with humor and bravado, RSF wows audiences with their gracefully fearless antics. Over their combined 50 years in impro, Jim and Jacob have played thousands of shows, worked with the top improvisers around the world, and have won many international comedy competitions, including the Munich Impro Cup, The Berlin Theatresports Cup, and The Austrian National Theatrsports Championships.
JACOB BANIGAN is an actor, writer, director and improviser, originally from Canada. Jacob has performed impro for over 30 years, in thousands of impro shows of a great variety across North America and Europe. He is associated with many innovative companies including Rapid Fire Theatre (Canada), English Lovers (Vienna), Rocket Sugar Factory (everywhere) and Theater im Bahnhof (Graz). In 2006, he captained the Canadian Shield National Team to victory in the FIFA Theatersports World Cup. Jacob works with Red Nose Clown Doctors and is Senior Lecturer for Improvisation at The University for the Performing Arts in Graz.
Jim Libby is an American performer, director and artistic consultant living in Vienna, Austria. He tours extensively: performing, creating shows and teaching with noted film, television and theatre companies throughout Europe and North America. Jim is the artistic director of Vienna’s Moment! Festival, a founding member of the English Lovers, the better looking half of Rocket Sugar Factory, and currently starring in the film, Level Up Your Life.
