(INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)
If you’d like to explore committed characterization and storytelling, this is the workshop for you! In this session, we will develop distinct characters with motivations, and they will star in a directed longform narrative format. We’ll also explore the conventions of the soap opera, including melodramatic acting, exposition in dialogue, and cliffhangers.
This workshop will culminate in the performance of an “episode” of this improvised soap opera titled Avalanche of Desire on Sunday 29 June at 19:30, CET Studio.
