Want to learn how to free up your body for maximum expression, ease and coordination? This course, based on a postural method, called the Alexander Technique, will help you do just that! Experiential exercises and hands-on work will guide you to new postural habits and an improved way of moving, speaking and breathing.
Nadia Banna is a certified Alexander Technique teacher—a method that teaches you how to have more ease and coordination in movement, work and performance. Engaged in the study and practice of the Alexander Technique for over a decade, Nadia has a private practice in Kilchberg, just outside the city limits of Zürich.
She is a member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique and previously had a private practice in New York, was on faculty at the Riverside Initiative and was a workshop facilitator at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
Nadia completed a 1600-hour, three-year teacher training for the Alexander Technique. Nadia is also a summa cum laude graduate of New York University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Literature and Language and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Flute Performance.
Her clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds, have diverse interests and make up a wide age range, from 9 years old to 70 and beyond.
