We are looking for talents to join our MUSICAL THEATRE COURSE from May to October 2024. Learn the craft of musical theatre and be part of a professionally produced Broadway show "The Addams Family" the musical. This is an adult production for ages 16+. We welcome novice and experienced performers!

Thank you so much for your interest in THE ADDAMS FAMILY the Broadway musical. We are delighted that you are auditioning! THE ADDAMS FAMILY will be professionally produced and will be performed at MILLERS in OCTOBER 2024.

We’re looking forward to your audition and having you in our cast!

Audition dates: May 17/18 and 24. Zoom auditions are possible outside of these dates.

Rehearsal dates: (These are called rehearsal schedules - you may be called for a partial day, full day or have the day off.)

  • MAY: 26 

  • JUNE: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 

  • JULY: 7, 13, 14 

  • AUGUST: 17, 18, 25 

  • SEPT: 1, 8, 15, 22, 28, 29 

  • OCT: 5 

 

Tech week: (Rehearsals in the evening)

  • OCT: 6-10  @ MILLERS

  • OCT: 11 DRESS REHEARSAL

 

  • OCT: 12-18 PERFORMANCES @ 19:30 with an additional Matinee  at 14:00 on 13 OCT

 

  • OCT: 19  LOAD OUT

Auditions

  1. For the auditions, you will sign up for a 15 minute slot on either 17 or 18 May. If you are unable to attend in live time, we can schedule a ZOOM audition.

  2. The dance auditions and callbacks are on 24 May. For the dance audition, you will be given a piece of choreography to learn and we will dance it together in groups. You cannot prepare for this. Please wear clothing for movement and trainers or character shoes if you have them and bring water! For the callbacks, you will read specific sections of text from the script.

  3. For the audition, you will prepare one monologue (it does not have to be memorized). You will also prepare a minute of one song.

HOW TO GET TO CET

Here is a video that will take you right to the front doors of the CET studio. We are located in the MIGROS building on the second floor. Follow the signs to CET. At the big banner "CLOSE" - take a right and we are there! If you come via car, there is parking on top of the MIGROS building. Take the elevator down to floor 2 and follow the signs to CET. The address is Pfingstweidstrasse 101, 8005, Zürich.
